Shenee is one of my 2020 High School Senior Influencers and I am so happy she joined my team! We did her senior session in late summer so we had already had a few model/influencer sessions by the time her senior session came along.
Shenee had the vision all set for her session. She knew she wanted sunset and warm feel to her senior pics and she had just the location for that! I traveled to her home in Ashland, Nebraska where her neighbors have a cattle field that we used even though the cows decided to be on the other side of the treeline that evening. We utilized the beautiful sky, field and the cow pen. I think that is what that is called? I am not a country girl at all so that is my final guess. :)
Her golden dress was the perfect color for her FFA jacket and just adding those turquoise boots and jewelry made that an outfit. A stunning, country girl in the field outfit.
On Shenee's family property they have a little lake area with a sand bar which is super fun to shoot at especially in Nebraska where we don't have beaches. The sand next to the water kinda gives the illusion that we were on a small island beach...it sure was humid enough to be that day!
The outfit that she chose was a stunner once again with that blue! I loved the flowiness of her dress so that she was not restricted in movement or posing. At one point I had her walk on the sand and just play around with the dress as though playful shots are always a favorite! If you follow me or have shot with me, you know I love angles as well. Having Shenee lay on the sand was probably some of my favorite shots. There are so many points of view that you can shoot from without making your senior change into a bunch of different poses, but you still get totally different images.
When your family owns an airboat business, you have to include one in your senior pics! Shenee's family owns Nirbuilt Airboats and they build them in their multiple shops that are on their family property. Shenee works in the shop and helps build the boats as well. I had the opportunity to get to see one of the shops and shoot inside it while we did some awesome welding pics.
It was pretty dark by the end of her session so I pulled out my trusty light wands and away we went getting some awesome blue skies behind her and a whole different look with the railroad tracks, horse trailer and those pants! The pop of red in the earrings tied the pop of red in her lips perfectly. Having Kasey from Esthetics by Kasey apply Shenee's makeup prior to her session and then stay on location with us made the switch super easy. She also was able to help us with the shine that comes from having your senior pics taken mid summer in Nebraska.
Shenee, I know this wasn't how you envisioned your senior year ending, but as strong willed as you are I know you will be making a big splash in your future!
