With a brand photo session, you most likely are your own boss.  This could be your full time gig or a side hustle.  Whichever it is, you are wanting to not only show your face in the photos, but the brand.  Here is the kicker, YOU are the brand.  When people post anything on social media the consumer wants to see who is behind the business.  What drives this person, see behind the scenes and even know a little more about the person rather just all about the biz.
