Recently, I have seen pastel colors come back into style. Wearing pastel colors is not just for babies anymore. Anyone and everyone can rock them. Head to toe pastel is all the rage. I love seeing people in fun colors, why not make the world more colorful! Some of the popular clothing that is pastel are bucket hats, mini skirts, trousers, button ups and so much more. Colors such as light pink, light yellow, baby blue, white, and light green are used to create a pastel wardrobe. Accessories that are worn with this trend are pastel hair clips, pastel purses, white shoes (air force style), pastel converse, and light colored glasses.

Celebrities that are hopping on this trend are the members of BTS, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Harry Styles.

The pastel trend kind of ties into another trend that has made its way to the surface is the minimalism trend. By simplifying your summer wardrobe you can be functional and stylish. Using a minimalist approach to your summer clothing style can be a fun and easy way to stay chic. Using simple colors like black, white, tan, and grey are used to create the minimalistic styles. Pastel colors also can be part of the minimalist trend. Clothing that is used for this trend usually does not have any print or patterns. Simple, dainty jewelry such as stud earrings, or chain necklace with a small pendant.

Celebrities that have been seen in the minimalist style are Ashley Graham, Lily Collins, and Gigi Hadid.

Each of the previous trends also tie into this next fashion trend that I have been seeing around social media. Mini skirts are the number 1 fashionable skirt for the summer of 2021. Any mini skirt. They are making a comeback! These skirts allow individuals to show their lengthy legs and to also highlight the shoes they are wearing. People can find these mini skirts in many arrays of colors, prints and fabrics. Mini skirts that I have seen come in pastel pink, white, blue, and yellow. So you can wear two summer trends in one! They also come in denim, silk, corduroy, and cotton. Mini skirts are part of the minimalist movement because they are simple but cute. They can be pleated, flowy, or fitted.

The popular website that people love to shop for these clothing items is a place called Shein. Shein is an affordable shopping platform that has up to date fashion trends.
