We have so many social media platforms how do we keep up?

As a small business owner I try to keep up with all of the social media trends.  Not gonna lie, I do have to ask teens how some of the functions work but honestly when you get the hang of it, it can be fun.  

The big platform right now (February 2022) is Instagram Reels.  This is where you are going to get the most engagement and be seen across the platform.  It isn't like your stories or your posts where only your followers see you.  Therefore as a high school senior photographer I have to step up my Reels game.

In Instagram Reels you can show your personality.  Let your audience connect with YOU not just your pretty pictures.  I love to post my client images of course, but that is for your main feed not Reels. If you don't want to be seen just yet start with behind the scenes footage from a photography shoot or even a before/after with their makeup application.

Not sure how to start? Hit up the Explore page.  Start watching content.  This is where you can get ideas.  Write them down or start saving a sound or video you like so that you can reference the video later or even use that sound in one of your Reels.
